Which iPhones can make songs?
An iPhone with 6 GB of memory or more, running iOS 26. That includes iPhone 15 Pro and later. You’ll also need about 3 GB of free space. If your iPhone can’t make songs, ChorusPop says so.
Why is there a download the first time?
ChorusPop needs its song model, about 2 GB. It comes from the App Store with the app or the first time you open it, so use Wi-Fi. You can start writing songs while it downloads. They begin once the download is done.
Why do songs pause when I leave the app?
iPhone only lets an app use the graphics chip that makes songs while the app is open. When you switch away, songs pause, and they pick up where they left off when you come back. Turn on notifications to hear when they pause.
Where are my songs?
Only on your iPhone. Deleting ChorusPop deletes them, so share any you want to keep elsewhere first.
Which model makes the songs, and what’s its license?
ChorusPop uses YuE2-3B by M-A-P, licensed CC BY-NC 4.0. That license doesn’t allow commercial use, so ChorusPop is free and non-commercial. Read the license before using songs commercially. Attribution is also in the app under Settings ▸ License.
